Role Descriptions


Description: Provides for the maintenance and support as well as the design and development of integration processes for multiple database systems using various integration tools, including Cloverleaf, Mirth, and Rhapsody integration software. Experience in healthcare related database development, administration, data warehousing, data storage, and the transmission of data as well as cybersecurity concepts involving data transmission and storage are required.

Minimum Years of Experience: Five or more years of experience is required. Minimum Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science.


Description: Creates documentation of meetings, findings, and suggestions resulting from testing new or existing software with healthcare IT components. Provides written manuals and/or standard operating procedures. Provides managerially requested activities, reports, analytical research and communication for each incident, enhancement, or user ticket. Provides managerially requested reports on activities and progress, written analytical research, and documentation of communication for each defined request.

Minimum Years of Experience: Three or more years of experience is required. Minimum Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science.


Description: Responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting reporting analytics and business intelligence solutions to meet the information needs of the healthcare organizations. Gathers data from a variety of sources and formats to support one or more business units in preparing weekly and monthly analyses and reports to drive the business while ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Description: Develops and implements solutions coordinating applications across a wide variety of healthcare stakeholders and systems. Evaluates existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs. This position requires a strong background in software development and experience in thehealthcare domain. Experience with multiple EMR systems such as Cerner, Epic, and integration engines such as Mirth or Rhapsody. Experience with large, complex integration projects.

Description: Responsible for the development, installation, maintenance, and performance tuning of the computer operating system software and/or hardware in healthcare or public health settings. Provides continuous review of the performance of overall computer operating system utilizing interactive and batch monitoring software products to ensure balance of workload over mass-storage devices and optimal CPU utilization. Installs new system and application software. Maintains existing system and application software. Develops and maintains technical standards, procedures and techniques for the resolution of software problems to ensure maximum system availability and performance levels for the user community. This includes working with vendor technical specialists in modifying, correcting, and installing vendor provided software. On-call duty. Assists users with technical difficulties and provide problem resolution. Performs related duties as required.

Description: Builds complex web interfaces that combine with front end web technologies and back end data transport, integration, storage, and visualization in cloud environments of healthcare data. The portals and web apps are used in the public and private health sectors. It is required that you have 3 years of full stack web development experience including git/version control, HTML/CSS/Angular JS, experience with RESTful APIs, familiarity with AWS services including EC2, S3, CloudFront, and RDS, knowledge of core internet protocols including HTTP/DNS/TCP/ICMP. Previous exposure to Node.js, Java, Bootstrap, Puppet, ELKStack. Needs to be comfortable learning new programming languages quickly. Previous exposure to cyber security concepts and tools like AlienVault. Basic understanding of graphics and user interface concepts. Healthcare IT experience a plus.

Description: Ensures that the project objectives are met and that the project is delivered on time and within budget. The project manager is responsible for creating, maintaining and refining project plans, tracking project schedules and technical performance, and leading both the business and technical teams on healthcare IT projects. Project deliverables will follow best practices as detailed in PMBOK. The project manager will allocate resources, shape priorities, and coordinate interaction with the project team, stakeholders, vendors, users, and customers to keep the project team focused on the right goals. The project manager will also follow best practices to ensure the integrity and quality of project artifacts.

Minimum Years of Experience: Three or more years of experience is required. Minimum Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or business administration, and a PMP training or certification.


Description: Proposes new application technology using latest tools and technology available for application in healthcare IT and public health reporting. Reports any changes to the specification document to the technical team lead as well as any risks that arise during development. Identifies all code within both applications that must be changed and provides detailed estimates for code changes. Comprises a report indicating the scope of development work required for new applications.

Minimum Years of Experience: Three or more years of experience is required. Minimum Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science.


Description: Working in partnership with client leadership, the Healthcare IT Consultant advises on overall healthcare information technology strategy as it relates it the organization's business objectives.

Minimum Years of Experience: Five or more years of experience is required. Minimum Education: A bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, or informatics, and a PMP training or certification.


Description: Oversees total system development, deployment, and maintenance related to company or client network, database, and web related systems. Investigates and analyzes new technology solutions for healthcare IT problems. Oversees IT projects and provides executive level reports.

Minimum Years of Experience: Five or more years of experience is required. Minimum Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science.


Description: Responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of healthcare information databases. Involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as troubleshooting issues within the database. Maintains database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters, implementing new releases, completing maintenance requirements, and evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products.

Description: Specializes in the security of the network and all applications that are within the healthcare IT solution or application. Determines who requires access to which information, and then plans, coordinates, and implements information security programs. Using a multi-layered approach, they use their specialized expertise andup-to-date knowledge to help protect against web threats that facilitate cybercrime including malware, phishing, viruses, denial-of-service attacks, information warfare, and hacking.
